Each staff member we met (3 in total) were so nice and helpful. The motel seemed completely new so it had a fresh and especially clean feeling about it. The complimentary breakfast was simple but we were told that it is a full cooked breakfast on the weekends. It was a quiet and very restful stay. We'd stay here again.

Room and bathroom was very clean. Complementary hot breakfast is not bad-- better than the "continental breakfast" some chain hotels offer. Warning: no coffee in the room, but I prefer to stretch my legs and head downstairs for the 24 hour coffee. No decaf coffee though. My suggestion is for Management to provide decaf teas, and perhaps a few hot chocolate sachets close to the hot water airpot. These are not complaints. This hotel provides good value for the money you pay. We enjoyed our quiet stay, mainly because this property is not on the main highway, yet conveniently close to wherever we wanted to go.

Super clean! Beds were "super twins" so slightly larger than a twin but not quite a full. Perfect for my friend and I. Staff was friendly and helpful (especially the lovely woman at the front desk the next morning) BONUS: they have 3 resident cats! We only met one, Smoky. He was super friendly! The motel was in Alamosa, so the larger town closest to the Great Sand Dunes. We were there 4th of July so expected everything to be closed, but we're pleased to be referred to The Purple Pig which had super pizza as promised. Id absolutely stay at Sunset Inn again

We had a pleasant stay. The staff is great, from the check-in guy, overnight, and morning person, we always felt welcome. Comfortable rooms/beds, with spacious small kitchen that has a fridge, microwave and extra cabinet space.The Wi-Fi was inconsistent. It worked some of the time, but not others. The breakfast was limited to pastries, cereal, and pancakes. Maybe we arrived a bit late to breakfast. Not sure.
